How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I started off as a legal secretary straight out of High School and my first boss trained me in conveyancing. From there I've never looked back and its been onward and upward from there.

No favourite story as such, but the satisfaction in hearing the joy in peoples voices and the words of thanks is all the satisfaction I need to know I have done a good job.  Also when a new client comes to me and they have come to my via a referral from a previous client that makes me even happier.

What do you like most about your job?

Although the job can be highly stressful and demanding, I enjoy the final result when telling buyers they can go and collect the keys to their new home and hearing the excitement in their voice.  From a sales perspective, again once we reach the final result being settlement, I enjoy advising vendors that they now have money in their bank account.

Does your fixed price include all disbursements/out of pocket expenses - yes When do I have to pay your account - at settlement i.e. end of transaction Are you happy to look over the contract and vendor statement before I sign - YES absolutely I highly advise it.

- have a building and pest inspection done on the property you are purchasing - make sure that your finance is in place if purchasing - If selling, be honest in providing information we request from you to ensure that documents we prepare on your behalf are not defective

I have been doing conveyancing for over 30 years and running my own business for 20years. I am a certified practicing conveyancer, i have held a full Conveyancing License since 2008 under the Legal Professional Act 2008 and am also a Fellow of the Law Institute of Victoria and a Certified Practicing Conveyancing with the Australian Institute of Conveyancers.
