Called Chris of Surge Light & Power Electrical on an after hours emergency callout over the easter weekend as I had power points not working and I have 3 kids. Chris attended promptly and reasonbly priced considering it was a weekend. Overall an hours work with all the powerpoints repaired including electrics in the roof was $385. I wish to thank Chris for his professional, prompt and affordable afterhours service.
Frequently asked questions
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
We are an Insured business with $10M Public Liability. We have been doing business with almost a dozen real estate businesses; Hundreds of Private / Household Customers and Commercial Customers for the last 4 years - and this insurance is a mandatory thing in our eyes. We offer a guarantee on our work as per our own Terms & Conditions of Trade.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
3 Tips - (R.P.A) - RESEARCH - PLAN - ASSESS 1. Research what is out there on the market, and what may be most suitable for your home or office. This will help reduce costs relating to us doing your research. And regarding our quotes - we can only quote on what we know (so it's best to have the information for us what you are expecting). WE WILL IN ANY EVENT ASSIST YOU IN THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS IF YOU BECOME STUCK. 2. Create a Plan. A map of your home or a good sketch of the work you wish to have done, also save time any costs placed on your final bill. As there is less need and less time needed for us to plan an outcome (in many cases this is chargeable). And by planning, you may end up having a few end-product thoughts in mind, which can assist everyone particularly if a situation arises where the first option may be the dearest when the second option virtually give you the same outcome.... etc... 3. Assess the overall project and estimate what works are necessary, and what items can wait in the event you discover the overall project may be a financial hurdle. Again we can assist yourself and offer a credit card payment facility - but again, at least if you are looking for decretive light fittings etc, this will give you a far better assessment of the project cost if you have the light fittings pricing, photo and any descriptions from the Retail Store and present that information to us (which means it could reduce the quoted price as less sundry materials or labour may need to be allocated - rather just than a 'balloon quote approach'.
