  Everything started well till several weeks prior to settlement when the company just ghosted us.. After finally getting a hold of someone there we found out the solicitor that was handling our settlement was fired.. Yet the company hadn't reached out, followed up or made any efforts to get our settlement in order with another in their team. Not until we called asking why we weren't receiving responses.... Slight oversight? The new solicitor did get the job done in time just.. thankfully. Though a month later and finding out forms have not been transferred to the body corp and they are again not responding to emails from the body corp or me... Never again...

  Dear Jamie, Thank you for your feedback. We take all reviews seriously, particularly where concerns are raised about communication and post-settlement matters. However, after conducting a thorough review of your file and our correspondence records, we must respectfully state that several aspects of your account are inaccurate. At no stage were you “ghosted.” Our records show that all queries were responded to within reasonable timeframes and that communication was maintained throughout your matter. When your original file handler was no longer with our firm, the matter was promptly reassigned and progressed to settlement successfully and on time which ultimately occurred without issue. In relation to the body corporate documentation, we have clear written records of multiple communications with the relevant body corporate managers following settlement. We also followed up when confirmations were not received. Some aspects of the process, including the marina berth lease component, involved a separate body corporate structure, which contributed to delay outside of our direct control. We have attempted to contact you directly to discuss these concerns and clarify the position, however we have not received a response. We remain open to resolving matters through direct communication rather than through public commentary. As a small business, our reputation is extremely important to us. We stand by the work completed on your matter and have comprehensive file notes and correspondence to support this. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this constructively should you wish to engage with us directly.
