I am an insured business and as I offer a health service, rather than a product it is impossible to offer a "guarantee". What I can guarantee though is that no matter how difficult a client's health problems are, I will not give up in finding a solution and that I will always put in 100% effort in working with my clients.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have had a lifelong passion for health and nutrition and the next obvious step in that passion was to become qualified so I can share my knowledge with other people.

I don't specifically want to mention one favourite customer story, but it is always wonderful for a client to say to me that they don't need to come any more, because they are feeling so good.

Without a doubt the best part of the job is the fact that I can help people overcome health issues and that by giving them dietary and lifestyle advice, I am also giving them the tools to take control of their own health.

The first question should be regarding the qualifications of the professional. It is essential that the professional has all of the appropriate qualifications. It is also a good idea to ask if they have experience and knowledge of the particular condition you have

I get a huge range of questions so there is not any particuarly common one that is asked more often than others. The questions are usually personally related to their condition, and as we are all individuals, each condition and treatment plan is also individual.

I believe that my passion for helping people take control of their lives and reach optimum health makes me reliable and trustworthy. My clients always come first, and I welcome them to phone me with any questions or problems that they may encounter

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Accepted Answer

I am passionate about empowering clients so they can look after their own health in the future. I believe that we do not have to "put up with" ill health, as a lot of people do. Conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, digestive issues, cardiac and thyroid conditions, stress and insomnia are treatable conditions if only people were educated as to the causes and the lifestyle and dietary choices that are made that exacerbate these types of conditions.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

I don't need any information to provide a quote because my fees are fixed for each appointment. With regards to supplements, I keep them down to as few as possible to help keep the overall costs down.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

If a client has any recent blood tests that they could bring along to the appointment, this can often save time in diagnosing a particular condition, so fewer appointments are needed.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Rather than charge on an hourly basis, I have a fixed fee for appointments. These appointment times vary according to how long is needed with the client in order to discover the cause of their health issue. If more time is needed with a particular client, it is still the same fee

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

I charge per appointment, which is claimable through health funds. Clients can pay cash or direct debit, whichever suits them. The appointments do not have a fixed time, as it depends on the complexity of each condition but initial appointments take from 1-2 hours and follow up appointments from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I treat a wide range of conditions, from depression, stress and anxiety, to insomnia, digestive issues, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, weight management to name a few, but my passion is in the field of mental health. Depression, anxiety disorders, ASD, ADD, stress and insomnia are the areas that I am particularly passionate about. I work with adults and children and my goal is to treat the causes of these issues and to help clients to empower themselves by giving lifestyle and dietary advice so they are not forever reliant on health practitioners. It is a sad fact of life that prescription medications often force people onto a lifetime of medication. It is only when people are armed with the tools to take their own health into their hands that they can be truly free of ill health.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I am a qualified Naturopath, Herbalist and Nutritionist and I practise from clinics at Stafford and The Gap in Brisbane. I am also trained in mineral therapy, iridology and flower essences, all important tools for diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions.
