All our staff have public liability insurance and guarantee the quality of our delivery to each and every client. As long as proper information is provided before production and during post production, we will ensure that you are happy with the final product before billing.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

The nature of our work is what brought Silver Squid Productions together. We all hold a strong passion for filmmaking and video production and as such decided to work together in order to provide a consistent and perfected service. This also allows us to focus on honing our craft in the arts as well

The flexibility and the constantly changing horizon is one of the most exhilarating elements of what we do.  No one project is the same and every client is different. Always striving for something greater keeps us fresh, challenged and alive and it's why we can't consider doing anything else.

Always ask for examples of work. Although it's by no means the be all end all of a company, it is a very good measuring stick to see if their stylistic choices match your aesthetics.

Many clients ask us for a quote with very little lead up. The more information you provide the quicker we can get back to you.  We normally look for a time frame on the project, a budget (if available), example videos that you'd like to match or take inspiration from and who your audience are.

We generally require an idea of what you're looking to produce. Whether it's live event or scripted. If it's scripted, it helps to know if you need a script developed or if you'd like one produced by us If it's a live event, we would prefer to know what sort of access we have to the venue.

We're a production company that works cohesively with freelancers on a running basis. As such we are able to minimize expenses to the bare necessities. We always try to be flexible with our clients to come to a sound middle ground, informing clients when quality might be compromised.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We work with minimal overheads on our production contracts and as such will match our quotes to the intricacy required for your videos. Depending on the production requirements we will either charge by the hour or as a full production package in order to keep your costs to a minimum.

We like to continuously expand our repertoire in video production, but have recently worked on longer contracts with Events Management at the City of Wanneroo, as well as provided commercials for various non-profits such as The Smith Family, Guide Dogs WA and Telethon Sound and Hearing.
