  Alright folks, long message ahead, but well deserved. Ryan, the big gentleman himself, just left my unit less than an hour ago. To give some context, a couple of months back he completed a small job for me, replacing two copper P-traps under my sinks. Everything was spot on; quality materials, efficient work, and top-level skill that shows he really knows his trade. Honestly, I wish more of the younger generation would focus on learning a solid trade and aim to be even half as capable and hardworking as Ryan, instead of chasing the ‘content creator’ trend. Anyway, what impressed me most wasn’t just the workmanship; it was his genuine honesty and the way he represents his business. No upselling, no corner-cutting, none of the negative experiences I’ve had with other tradies in the past. I didn’t leave a review immediately (couple of months back) because I wanted to see how the job held up over time. Fast forward to today: one of the P-traps suddenly started leaking. I contacted Ryan, and once again he responded quickly and made time in his schedule. As expected, he identified the issue straight away; it was a defective rubber seal — fixed it, and made sure everything was in order. While he was here, I casually mentioned a concern about the hair buildup in my shower drain. Without hesitation, he checked it out and took care of it on the spot. Yes, we are paying for the service, we carry this "entitlement" feeling, but I want to highlight the level of professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care that Ryan delivers. I hope this positive feedback reaches as many people as possible. Let’s support Platypus, Ryan, and his team — they’re exceptional. Ryan, thank you sincerely, mate. I wish you long life, and good health, I wish your family good luck, I wish your business nothing but growth and success, just like the legacy your father built over decades.   Ryan responded promptly to my emergency burst main which happened just after knockoff time. Didn’t muck around, all done in time for dinner. Also good general advice given about water pipes and trees and possible future issues
