How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always enjoyed working outdoors with my hands and I find this type of work very staisfying especially when looking back at the beginning of a project and seeing the huge amount of change we can acheive.   It gives me great pride when I am able to present a cleaned area to a customer that looks 100 times better than before we began and hearing that they are thrilled with the results.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

A customer recently asked which area I serviced and If I was local to their It just so happend that I outside their commercial property on my way home when they rang, and I said "yes I am pretty local I am outside right now". We had a very good laugh about it. They had a very slippery case of algae growing in their customer carpark dure to large volumes of rain and consistant water flow that was a safety concern. I did a test clean on the spot to ensure that I could sufficiently remove the algae and came back first thing the next day to complete the work.  They were very satisfied with the work and the area is no longer a slip hazard.

What equipment do you use? We use the latest model Honda Powered Pressure Cleaners utilising Italian made Bertalinni Pumps. This is the indusrty gold standard for commercial pressure cleaning.  What chemicals do you use? We use a variety of chemicals depending on what type of cleaning is to be undertaken. We take every precaution to protect your property and the environment when using these chemicals.   How long will the job take? This depends on the scope of the job, but an estimate will always be provided before the work is started and if there are any unexpected issues that may cause delays than this will be communicated to you as they occur.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Generally the size and type of area to be cleaned. Whether there are any access issues (i.e locked gates, cars in driveways, restricted access to water etc). Location of the job and if Parking is available.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

Moving furniture out of the way is important. To ensure that we can be efficient as possible and stick to the quoted price it is important to remove any furniture or obsturctions before we are scheduled to arrive.   Blocked draines can be an issue, use a high volume of water to do our cleaning and this means we rely on the property drains to be unblocked and working at a reasonable level. If you are aware of the property's drains being an issue it is best to have a plumber unblock them before hiring a pressure cleanes as the water will have no where to go and this may occur an extra fee for us to pump out the area.   If you require multiple areas to be cleaned it is best for us to do an in preson quote rather than quoting over the phone or through pictures. This way we will have the full scope of the work and will avoid any unexpected extra costs on the day of the clean.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We charge on a case by case basis based on several factors including side, surface type and job type, dirtyness and the amount of chemicals that are requored for the job. For example if a driveway is a 60m2 simple concrete driveway with minimal mould or organic growth, we can offer a lower rate than the same sized paved driveway with heavy mould and algae growth because the time it would take to clean would be much less.

We specialise in pre-sale and normal house washing including roof cleaning. We can get your house looking great again and will work with you to find a time that works for you, if you have pre-sale photos booked we will prioritise your work to meet the deadline.
