Out of a total of 14 quotes I chose NG Plumbing & Electrical, they didn’t seem pushy, happily worked through changes to the plans and quotes and offered what I believe was a fair price (after much deliberating on my part). They were very accomodating with scheduling an install date and the installation team were very tidy and respectful. I noticed a fair portion of very highly priced quotes and extremely low priced quotes, we ended up deciding on mid tier pricing at $725/kw being what I think is the sweet spot for the system we bought. NG Plumbing and Electrical - were one of the only installers that didn’t get caught up in storeys about watching out for dodgy installers or pushing certain brands in order to try justify their price. This strategy was something I noticed a lot of installers used, I found it was very off putting and not very professional. So I always checked the quoted price against a first principles estimate on how much a system would cost (materials and labour) - making sure to do this comparison against full system cost before STC rebate. We are very happy with the quoting and install process through NG plumbing and electrical and so far we are happy with the performance of our system.Shivananda B

Thanks to the team at NG for a great solar install. Within days of working out the best system for my needs, 28 panels and a 16kw battery were installed efficiently and with no mess. Even increasing the size of the battery at the last minute was no issue. The team worked all day on Christmas Eve to do the install - unheard of!
