Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes we are insured. We have personal and property liability insurance and goods in transit insurance. There may be times when the risk to belongings and property can greater but once identified. recommendations will be made as to the best course of action.  We do not undertake in any activities which could be detrimental to the safety of our staff, customers or their belongings.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have been doing this line of work most of my working life. As a young kid, my family moved frequently so it was a no brainer that I developed the packing and moving skills from a young age.  I love the challenge of removals and the satisfaction in knowing that the job has been successfully completed meeting the customers expectations.

This line of work is always changing therefor enabling me to work with new and/or repeat customers in a variety of different locations.  I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that at the end of the job we have done the best that we could and that we have been able to successfully move our customer without any issues.  Knowing that we put a smile on our customer's face because we have made a daunting task for them, a whole lot easier.

Within our business we have a commitment to making sure that we uphold our agreements. We employ staff who also uphold the same values.  Our staff are police checked and undergo training to enable them to complete the many different types of jobs they are faced with.

The most important things I need to know are: The size and location of the move  Any access issues  If there are fragile or extremely large items What type of service is required Knowing these things will enable us to provide a more accurate estimation of what is required for your move, how long it should take to complete and what you will expect to pay.

My top 3 tips for moving are: Bundle up all loose items and pack them into clearly labelled cartons or storage tubs  If you can, dismantle large items. If unable, have all surfaces cleared and leave for the removalist on day  Invite us around to do a site inspection to check for potential problems before your moving day

We offer a top range service at a mid range price.  Our prices are fully transparent so there are no hidden costs.  We do not charge for anything that is not already quoted or discussed with customer.

We normally charge by the hour but this can vary depending on customer requests or needs.  This is normally discussed at time of booking.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

With over 40 yrs experience in the removal industry I have experienced most situations you would expect to encounter in this type of work. In my earlier years I worked with well know removal companies and learnt a lot from these opportunities. I undertook training from organizations such as AFRA and have since compiled my knowledge into training my own employees within my own business.
