Still nothing, no answer from anyone at this company. Only reply has been someone replying to this review saying will be in touch within 24 hours.. been days and days now. Insane someone can run a business like this in 2026.. Have been trying to get in contact with this business for a few weeks now. Told to email I did, messaged, called, no reply at all. Few issues but the main one is damage to timber flooring and just getting no response at all. Have photos and evidence and made company aware of this issue almost straight away. I could go on about a handful of other serious problems but I’m not being to critical as they are nice guys. Hi Jordan thank you for your feedback. I have now reviewed this matter with the team regarding the flooring concerns raised. Based on the information provided, the team advised that the damage occurred when the fridge was moved by yourself during the move in an attempt to speed up the process. Unfortunately, damage caused in these circumstances is not covered under our insurance policy. We appreciate your comments regarding communication and acknowledge your frustration with the delay in responses. We've used these guys 2 times so far, and both times we were very happy with everything... In the first move, they were running very late, almost 3 hours late, but in saying that Octávio and Igor were amazing!!! The boys had been working all day, and by the time they got to us, I expected them to be slower due to tiredness, but it was the opposite... Tom was very good at communicating with us and letting us know that they would be there to help us with the packing no matter what time and that they would be there until the job was completed... To our surprise, that's exactly what happened... Octávio and Igor were so helpful, fast, and professional, so much so that we got the shipping container and the truck loaded within a few hours... We were so thankful for the hard work and efficiency that we bought the boys some Maccas for dinner as a thank you... In the second move, we had different removalists booked due to availability, but they were so slow, rude, banging, and literally throwing items and boxes as they were putting them down... We actually stopped them after a few hours of unloading... I immediately got in touch with Tom to see if they were able to help us the next day, and thankfully, they were able to help us out... Jack and Fiji arrived an hour early, and as soon as they got here, they got to moving everything into the house... We have stairs at the new place, but the guys were so fast it didn't seem to bother them at all... We have had an extremely stressful and horrible move, and it was such a relief to have Octávio and Igor in our 1st move... Absolutely appalling experience. My mum booked Move For Less Removals for her move from Everton Park to Bli Bli on 25 April 2026, and it was handled terribly from start to finish. The crew arrived late, appeared inexperienced, struggled badly with the stairs, and had barely started over an hour after arriving. Multiple items were damaged, including furniture, a fridge, lounge, bed and TV. They also damaged the rental property walls, skirting, doors and stair trim, which my mum then had to pay $590 to repair so she could get her bond back. The worst part is that the damage was reported during the job. Photos were sent, and their staff acknowledged it in writing and said it would be fixed. They later tried to claim they were not notified of the damage at the time, which is simply not true and is contradicted by the messages. They failed to show up to repair the damage as arranged, avoided calls, hung up on us, and my mum’s number appears to have been blocked. Attempts to contact Jack and Tom were ignored or cut off, and we had to use other numbers just to get through. Payment was also demanded before my mum’s belongings would be unloaded from the truck, despite the damage already occurring. A formal complaint has now been lodged with Queensland Office of Fair Trading, and this will be pursued further. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Careless, unprofessional, disrespectful, and extremely difficult to deal with once something goes wrong.
