Extremely poor service delivery, no accountability, and zero interest in resolving issues. Not recommended. Be warned, the high google rating appears to be due to the workers asking their successful moves to give 5 stars so that they can ‘get their bonus’. Hired Move for Less Removals to relocate a small upright piano for an agreed fee. Despite confirming access suitability in advance (with photos), the movers arrived at the drop off location, took payment, then immediately advised they were unable to complete the job due to lack of appropriate equipment. No attempt was made to move the piano inside - it was left in the carport. Critically, the movers also left the previous address still containing some of our property including car keys completely unsecured, with both front doors wide open for hours - a serious breach of basic professionalism and care. Multiple polite attempts were made to contact the owner to resolve the matter. We were offered a partial refund of $100 or a reattempt for an additional cost, neither of which are acceptable given the service was meant to include bringing the piano inside. Communication then ceased entirely. The owner Jack has since ignored messages and hung up during a follow-up call. Upon reading other reviews here I’m learning this behaviour seems to be a common occurrence with this business. Later edit in response to owners reply: the piano model we have is actually well known to be a lightweight option. Additionally the house at the delivery location is level internally. Hi Scott Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the service, and we’d like to provide some important context. You did share photos prior to the job, which we appreciated. However, upon arrival, it became clear that the piano was significantly heavier and more complex to move than originally expected, and the internal access was more difficult than anticipated. For safety reasons and to avoid risk of damage or injury, our team advised that additional equipment would be required — equipment that wasn’t included in the original quote or service request. At that point, we offered two options: A partial refund, or A reattempt with the correct equipment at a discounted rate. You declined both, and we respected your decision. Our team then asked whether you’d like the piano returned to the pickup address, but you specifically requested that it be left in the garage at the delivery property instead — which we did. Regarding the claim that the previous address was left unsecured — this is a serious allegation and not reflective of how we operate. We’re looking into this internally and, if true, sincerely apologise. Lastly, we do have a performance-based bonus system that rewards our team for providing great service. The removalists dropped our fridge down the stairs which not only resulted in it being damaged, but injured one of the removalists. We spent weeks (upwards to 2 months) trying to get a resolution, only to be told that there’s a $1,000 fee for them to lodge an insurance claim or even investigate what happened etc. I was advised this was in the terms and conditions (apparently these are in each truck), however we were never shown them. This was not detailed on anything we signed, and we even enquired prior to this on their insurance coverage as we had a previous removalists damage items with no resolution. We’re now stuck with a damaged fridge (which was only about a year old!), having to buy a new one out of pocket, and no resolution/refund etc. has been provided. If we’d been advised of the $1,000 fee for insurance claims / damage when we were sent a copy of their insurance policy, we simply would not have booked with them. Chasing a reply was also near impossible, with my query asking for evidence of where we signed agreeing to the terms and conditions stating the $1k fee just never being responded to. For a $1.2k removalists fee - I’d expect much better service and resolutions.Tshego M

Alex and Lucas did an excellent job moving us into the city. It was Lucas’s first day and took the task really well and Alex quickly brushed up his expertise after being off for three weeks. Highly recommend them, great teamwork boys!Di R
