Public liability insurance. $20million cover. (Shopping centres especially require this.) Professional indemnity insurance Terms and conditions to protect both clients and ourselves. Licences to provide work safe conditions.

Do you enjoy your work? The variety of places and businesses keep me interested and I will keep pushing myself to excel.  How long have you been doing this? Over 12 years and still enjoy it.  Is there any jobs you won't do? I will look at anything!

I mostly do work for repeat clients that i have built up a reputation as being a reliable, honest and thorough contractor. I never go for the quick dollar and burn bridges. I would rather make less on several jobs than a lt and never see a client again.

Dimensions, locations and what it should look like. Overall sizes and areas to cover.  Inside or Outside. Intended Dates.  The Deadlines you need to meet. Finishes and Budgets.

Have a clear idea of what they would like to achieve. Appreciate the efforts required to achieve this. Leave enough time so no urgent premiums are needed to get the job done on time.

The budget is the key. Some will charge a low rate and then add extras. I will do the job as agreed and smile the whole time. I will try my best to make the customer happy before we begin rather than surprise the client with a huge bill.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I am flexible with the rates i charge as many jobs have different budgets. As a general rule I charge a minimum amount that allows 3 hours including travel. longer jobs can be pre-quoted to avoid cost blowouts. I can also go by an hourly rate if required.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialise in difficult signage and graphic installations that the larger companies will not take on. There are issues that I will be aware of before we even begin. Self adhesive and fabricated signage is a definite speciality.

Many years of providing a specialised service in a specialised industry. I have learned a skill set that cannot be taught only developed. I have all insurances and qualifications needed.
