Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

All my work is guaranteed 100%. You only pay the final invoice AFTER approving the website. Websites are only one part of running a successful online business, there are many other factors. I like to keep my clients and help them after the website is completed to get the best outcome. Being local to the area, word of mouth is my biggest seller, no point having a bad rep.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I got into the Web industry back in 2000 after my wife and I started selling a product online. Rioght from the start I was obsessed with leargin how to code a website and took a huge interest in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

This would be my most recent job. I'll keep the name private for legal reasons. My client hired a developer to create and manage their website. A year later the business owner was advised by the developer that he needed to pay him $30000 to hand over the site otherwise his site, that was doing very well online, would be taken down immediately. totally illegal by all means, but hard to control without going to court. I was asked to help and did what I could to help this company, talking to the developer and also trying to get access to the website. Due to this other persons negligence, I was able to regain website access and hand over the detasils to the legal business owner. Although I was paid to help, it was very satisfying to win one over a very unprofessional person in my industry. His actions we giving my industry a terrible name and reputation and I am just glad he never won.

What do you like most about your job?

Best part of my job is the flexibility iun working hours and also the constant learning I do every day. I literally spend hours researching SEO and website funcotins daily.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Probably the most important question would be for a list of previous work and for the potential client to contact some of those in the list. They will soon find out if this person is professional or not.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

"How much is a website" is the most common first question. Its actually a great question though, as its only answerable after speaking about what the client needs. A short dollar answer (ie $500) leaves the client lost as to what is actually being done, no mattter how fair the quote. Walking thorugh the process and functions of a site soon helps the business owner understand more about what it will take to go online.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I have run several online businesses in the past, and still do. I treat my clients as I'd like to be treated and believe  the client has sole rights and ownership of the website. Whatever work has been paid for i am happy to hand over 100%. Too many "BAD" developers make it very difficult for clients to go their own way, for whatever reason. I have had a few people move on to other businesses for various reason. While I hate to see them go, handing over every details about their site (especially password and logins) is essential. I hate hearing about dodgy developes holding clients to ransom.

While my official title is a Web Developer, I prefer to think of myself as a Web Co-ordinator as I manage all aspects of websites. From concept to creation, my experience in the industry has taught me valuable skills across the board in what it take to be succesfull online. I backup and hone my skills every day by running my own e-commerce websites and taking on development jobs for my own clients. I am a laid back professional.

What they want to achieve with the website (eg. Is it a business card website or an in-depth E-commerce website). Who is the competiton (SUPER Important). Budget. Timeframe.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Best way to save money when getting a website created are to be organised with what you need doing (write them down folks), provide the content and imagery (otherwise you're paying a developer to gather your info, realy, the best person to do that is the business owner) and to know your competition. Also, have a clear budget in mind beforehand. A website can cost a few hundred dollar or tens of thousands, it all dpepends on what you want to achieve.

When you hire Four foor Websites, you are only charged the agreed price from the quote. I don't charge for consultations, phone calls, my own research to get the job done or a fancy car and office. Each job is extensively quoted on so there are no surprises on completion.

All jobs receive a full quote beforehand based on the time it will take me to finish the job listing all functions and elements of the site. That way, my customers know exactly what they have to pay and also what they are getting. Nobody like "hidden" costs and I am proud to have none :)

If I could choose jobs to undertake it would be creating E-commerce websites, specifically using Wordpress Content Management Systems. My experience has taught me how to setup E-commerce website correctly to provide my clients with the best possible platform to sell their goods.

Top skills include SEO, Web design, Web developement, E-commerce, Wordpress, Online Marketing, CSS, HTML, PHP amongst others. I formally studied Certificate IV in Web Development at TAFE in 2013. I gain my greatyest knwoledge by my daily work or creating websites for others and managing my own E-commerce website and Directory. Nothing better than hands on daily training. This is a field that needs constant practise.
