I am insured through the network and registration with CELEBRANTS ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA .  Being a member also keeps me in line with any legal up dates which come through from the Attorney Generals Association.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Accepted Answer

I love my profession. I decided to use my previous work skills to be a Marriage Celebrant. Communication / People skills. I have a degree in English and writing skills and would definately call myself a 'people person'. I love all walks of life and consider myself non-judgemental.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

All my couples are different in their own way. I have had so many happy stories to tell, however, the one thing they all have in common is wanting to commit to each other. I respect everyone's privacy, but the one story which means so much is a couple who contact me on their anniv every year. xxx

What do you like most about your job?

I am honoured and privileged to be the celebrant of your choice. Your marriage ceremony is the most meaningful part of your Wedding Day - It's the time you actually get to say "I Do" in front of your family and friends. The satisfaction I get from sharing your love story and getting to know you is wonderful for me. I get such a buzz out of family and friends coming to me after the ceremony (some, with tears in their eyes) to thank me and how much the service feel joy and happiness. This is my reward.

How do they involve family members ? 8. Do they give suggestions for vows and or readings? 9. Do they communicate with your chosen venue before the day? 10.Why do they love their profession?

How much will your services cost ? Is the most common question. My answer is always as follows. " My fees are in line with "Celebrants Association of South Australia " guidelines. I know for a fact that my fees are favourably comparable to my co - workers. Depending on wether you want fully personalised or purely the legals done. We can always discuss pricing and there are certain ways I take instalment plans. We just need to have an obligation free chat.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I know that I am reliable with my couples, because they often tell me so. I am very diligent about being trustworthy person, because I dislike it when I can not trust people myself. There is no way I can prove this to you, through this text, however, I will prove it to you, if you take me on. You will welcome to speak to me and see how you feel.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

I like to think I am very professional and at the same time, produce a service to my clients, where they feel confident and I have their trust. I am experienced in life and endeavour to create a warm relationship with my Brides and Grooms. I am always open to requests from my couples. I have a wide range of vows, poems, readings and music suggestions available. I go "above and beyond" for my clientele. I am very accustomed to public speaking and articulate well. I make it my personal responsibility to give you my all, and go "Above and Beyond".

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

To help me quote for you, I would need to know wether you would like a fully personalised ceremony or the legal only ceremony. I would need to know wether you will be using my wireless sound system and also if you would like me to load your music onto this. I would also require the location of your venue. Let's chat - you will be pleasantly surprised.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

You can gather ready your I.D.'s so this is something I do not have to do for you. You can organise a sound system for your three tracks of music or get a friend to take charge of this job. If you wanted to go to the trouble ( and I warn you it is not easy) you could fill in your own NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MARRY. All these tips would help you to save costs.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

Hello Couples, I offer 10% discount in the Winter months of June and July. As well as the 10%, I do not charge for my wireless sound system and USB music during these two months. Personally, I think that winter is a great time for weddings as usually your service providers are less expensive, you can often get the venue you are wanting and having it ALL indoors you don't have to worry about weather.

What makes your pricing competitive?

You will get value for money with me. I am always on time, punctual and actually listen very carefully,to what you do wish for in the way of your ceremony proceedings. . I am professional and experienced and am very accustom to public speaking. I have a wide variety of vow and reading suggestions to put to you and send you drafts of your ceremony. I present my couples, with my "Celebration Folder" after the ceremony. This has a beautifully put together copy of your complete ceremony, plus a little gift from me. I put my heart/soul into YOUR day.

How do you normally charge for your service?

My fees are in line with South Australian Marriage Celebrants. Low end $450 / top end $700. Deposit paid on booking. You WILL get value for money with "Marriage Celebrant Above and Beyond" . Your ceremony is the most important part of your day - its when you get to say "I Do" and sign the Marriage Register.

I am a qualified and professional marriage celebrant. I specialise wedding ceremonies uniquely written and co-ordinated for your love story. I specialise in going the extra mile. I have a lot of contacts in the Wedding Industry and can help you to find different providers which you might be needing . As well as this, if my couples' relatives, do not have English as their first language, I often translate the ceremony, for parents and friends to follow.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I am a qualified and registered Civil Marriage Celebrant registered with Attorney General's Department. I trained (and passed with flying colours) for six months to get my Certificate. I am a member of "Celebrants Association of South Australia" . I adhere to AG Dept's CODE OF ETHICS.
