  Updated review: I wanted to update my previous review. After sharing my experience, AF Health took my concerns seriously. I was contacted by a supervisor over the phone and the owner via email, both of whom sincerely apologised for my experience. I really appreciated the way they handled the situation and their willingness to listen and improve. They also offered support moving forward, sent a thoughtful package, and provided a discount for a future appointment. While my initial experience wasn’t ideal, I do value businesses that take accountability and make an effort to resolve concerns. Thank you to the team for addressing this. —————————————————————————————- I went for my first appointment recently and felt very supported by the naturopath, Rebecca. However, after my appointment, which ended around 5 PM, when it was time to pay at the reception, the lady at the reception had a very unkind demeanour when I simply asked her that I wanted to pay for the appointment through Afterpay. She blatantly said ‘You HAVE to pay today!’ when I had never said anything about not paying. She was unwilling to give me a minute or two to signup for Afterpay - which I was already done with half way through anyway. I felt disrespected and humiliated. Rebecca was kind enough to step in and let me finish, which hardly took a minute. The receptionist’s behavior though left a bad taste in my mouth because I went to AF health after reading all the good reviews. Disappointed to say the least.

That is not the experience we want anyone to have at AF Health. Asking to use Afterpay is completely reasonable, and taking a minute to finalise payment should be handled with patience and care.   I was searching for a naturopath who could support me with a complex range of medical issues, including multiple autoimmune conditions, and I’m so grateful to have found Victoria. She is warm, friendly, reassuring, and truly takes the time to listen carefully to every symptom and concern. Within just two visits, she has helped reduce my pain levels dramatically, not only easing my daily headaches and migraines, but also the widespread muscle pain I had been experiencing. This is something I had never achieved despite over 20 years of medical care and for that alone, I am incredibly grateful. While I know there is still more work ahead, I feel confident that with her knowledge and thoughtful approach, we will achieve the outcomes I’ve been hoping for. The clinic staff are also lovely and welcoming, creating a genuinely supportive environment. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking a more holistic approach to their healthcare.
