Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are insured for $100,000 Goods in Transit Insurance, and also $10million Public Liability. On top of that, we have work cover for our staff. Always check that your removalist has insurance, because many do not. Our work is guaranteed, if we cause any damage, then we pay for it.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Most of us have all worked together before for other people. What we saw was that they were hiring backpackers that didn't know what they were doing, and booking in way too many jobs and then letting people down. We didn't want to be like that. We wanted to start something we could do right and be proud of. It's working, since we have only 5 star reviews.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

We can't really say we have a favourite customer as we get all sorts. We move 1 bedroom student flats, up to 5 bedroom houses in Vaucluse. Everyone is different, and that's what we enjoy about it.

What do you like most about your job?

Our guys like being out on the road. We enjoy the freedom removals gives you. It's not the same office day to day. We are all over Sydney, and with the beaches so close it makes it fun. We all enjoy being fit and active and removals keep us fit and healthy.

To hire the right removalist, as a customer, you should do a little research. Check them out online, everyone has reviews today, and some of those reviews will tell you a lot. Also make sure they have insurance, and that they have all the necessary equipment in their trucks.

Customers always us ask what packaging they need, and how can we be sure things will be taken care of. Each of our vehicles has shrink wrap in it, which we provide for free to protect anything from getting scratched or dirty. We also provide mattress protectors and wrap everything with the large felt moving blankets.

Before providing a quote we would need to know How many bedrooms you have If there are any particularly heavy items that may need 3-4 people. What the access is like (how many flights of stairs etc) Parking restrictions

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Tip 1 - have all boxes to the side, ready to go when we arrive. Try to keep them out of the hallway or main exit. Tip 2 - Measure the doorways of your new house to make sure all your furniture will fit, otherwise we may spend extra time carrying things up and downstairs because they don't fit. Tip 3 - Try to save parking as close as possible. Walking distance to a truck and easily add an hour or so to your move.

We aren't out to make a quick buck, we are in this for the long run. We want you to use us next time you move. So we don't overcharge. We give you one rate, which is inclusive on insurance, GST, tolls and fuel. We will never sting you with extra charges afterwards.

We charge by the hourly rate. All vehicles have the same hourly rate. Our rates include GST, Insurance, Tolls and Fuel. We don't stink you with extra charges unless your job is particularly far away.

We specialise in house moves of all shapes and sizes. WE have a fleet of four trucks so can cater to 1 bedroom apartments up to 5 bedrooms.
