  My daughter had her makeup done by Dana for her formal. She did an awesome job. My daughter felt very spoilt . I would highly recommend Dana to anyone.

  I recently had a formal makeup done for my special 30th birthday. The outcome of my makeup was to die for, I never had my makeup professional done, it almost made me cry. D* was very supported her co-worker Sue made me look amazing, I will be using her services again. Much love =-)

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  My first taste of Retail Makeup Application was at the age of 16 when I worked in a local Pharmacy. I achieved a Certificate II in Makeup Application to give me the skills I needed to competently apply makeup on a client in beauty, day, evening and formal glamour styles. From there my parents encouraged (pushed) me into business studies where I achieves a Certificate IV in Small Business Management. This gave me the foundation to become a Freelance Makeup Artist which I have been since 1999. Throughout my life I have held several jobs in various fields, always practising Makeup Artistry in the background. When my children were very young I became interested in Face Painting as I had two willing models who at the time loved having their faces painted ~ to me it was all makeup, just a different style of application and smaller clients :) I discovered YouTube Tutorials sometime around 2007 and my world of makeup exploded! The more Makeup I did, the more my clients, friends and family asked me to do. Like a junkie with an insatiable habit, I live, eat, breathe, walk and talk makeup. I'm always trying something new, working at something until I've nailed it, attending workshops, admiring and working alongside other creatives, being inspired and inspiring others... I really love what I do and at this stage in my life, I'm exactly where I want to be.
