From a young age I had always loved drawing and creating things, so it seemed like a natural choice to move into graphics and web design and for a number of years now it's been a rewarding and challenging line of work that always keeps us as a business on our toes.

There isn't really one favourite customer story, but for our team the most enjoyable projects are with startup businesses - that's a particular passion of our team at Lotus is helping business startups go from an idea where they have no branding or marketing to then helping them to not only start their business but have a key role in their branding and business look.

What I most love about my job is when customers are happy and satisfied with the work that has been done, its an extremely rewarding feeling, knowing the concept they have come up with as an idea you have helped turn into a reality.

One of the most common questions customers ask is regarding pricing and especially when it comes to work such as SEO what are the most common results and how long does it take to achieve them. With any graphics based work timeframe is another very commonly asked question.

One of the biggest things we need to know before providing a quote is the customers aims and goals for the job and the outcomes they are after. For websites for example we would need to know do they already have a domain; how many pages they would like, whether they need an online store etc.

3 ways to save money and also to help us;  1. This is definitely the most important one - provide as much content and ideas as you can, and be very clear, try to paint the picture that you want for your design, making it clear what you are looking for helps us create a design you will be happy with. If you don't have any idea - don't stress, we will work closely with you to achieve the branding you will be happy with.   2. Be very clear from the outset with details provided - whether that's the job details and what you require or design ideas, try to be as clear and concise as possible.  3. Be willing to spend for quality if necessary - some businesses will be much cheaper than others, but when it comes to business branding make sure that what you are paying for is quality.
