Currently no longer providing Personal Training sessions, as have shifted my business to a full-time Nutritionist. My area of speciality is around fat loss and muscle gain for your typical gym goer, fitness enthusiast, or those wanting to exercise more. My mission is to help people upgrade their diet one step at a time and improve their health with nutritional therapy. I have a bachelor degree as a Clinical Nutritionist and a background of working as a Personal Trainer for ten years. I make meal plans that are results focused, easy to follow, very tasty, and only use regular food. If I can find appropriate recipes that my clients love, I know that changes will be easy to make and sustainable long term. These aren’t your typical bodybuilding meal plans. They have lots of spices, fresh herbs, and are high in protein and fibre. My number one priority is that they are calorie appropriate and next I look at flavour, macronutrients, health benefits, and sustainability. If you have a high level of private health cover extras you can get a rebate. I can help you if you: * Would like to lower your body fat levels * Want to gain weight or lean muscle mass * Have digestive complaints such as bloating, reflux, flatulence, heartburn, diarrhoea or constipation * Have IBS, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Celiacs, Crohns, diverticulitis, PCOS, endometriosis, an autoimmune condition, or any health concern that you feel would benefit from making nutritional changes to your diet * Are sensitive to foods such as gluten or dairy * Are low in iron * Want to improve your diet for athletic performance * Are confused by all of the conflicting nutritional information found online and would like clarification * Have children who are fussy eaters, and would like some advice with meal planning * Have a history of irregular eating patterns, binge eating, a love/hate relationship with food, or disordered eating. Note that I can help you, and work alongside your GP and health team, but am unable to diagnose. * Have had weight-loss surgery 6 months ago or more, and would like nutritional guidance

    Until I started training with Julia, I never truly enjoyed fitness or viewed it as the lifelong journey that it is. She is truly knowledgeable, both in exercise and nutrition, and always keeps me driven.     Julia gave me the motivation I needed to fully commit myself to improving my strength and fitness - and I have starting seeing results for the first time in years.     Julia is a bundle of energy which makes training fun as that was something I have struggled with now I love my work outs . Julia has taught me allot about nutrition and what works for me and what doesn’t .   • Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

    Yes, I am insured. The process of fat loss can't be guaranteed because each client changes at a different pace depending on how much effort they put into changing their diet, and the number of hours they commit to fitness each week. The more you put in the more you get out.

  • How did you decide to get into your line of work?

    Personally, I don't just exercise for a fit looking body. I exercise because if I didn't my moods would be all over the place, I would struggle with anger and anxiety and my sugar cravings would be out of control. Health and fitness keeps me stable. At the gym, you train from the inside out.
