1. "How often do I actually need this done?" It depends on the environment. Construction is every 3 months; factories/warehouses are every 6–12 months; and clean offices can be up to 5 years. I follow the AS/NZS 3760:2022 intervals strictly. My goal is to ensure you aren't over-testing (wasting money) or under-testing (risking a fine). I’ll provide you with a tailored schedule based on your specific workplace risks."  2. "Do I have to turn everything off? It’ll disrupt my staff." The Standard Answer: Yes, items must be unplugged to be tested. Yes, each item needs about 2–3 minutes of 'down-time' for a safe test. However, I specialize in 'low-impact' testing. I work desk-by-desk so your whole office doesn't go dark at once, and I can schedule around your lunch breaks or 'quiet hours' to keep your team productive.  3. "What happens if an item fails?" The Standard Answer: We tag it 'Failed' and you have to fix or remove it from service. Safety is the priority. If an item fails, I don't just put a red tag on it and walk away. I’ll show you exactly why it failed (e.g., internal earth leakage or a frayed cord) so you can make an informed decision to repair or replace it. I also provide a Defect Report immediately for your records.  4. "Why should I hire you instead of a cheap franchise?" You're hiring 25 years of WHS expertise, not a trainee with a two-day course certificate. When an auditor walks in, my traceable compliance reports are your best defense. You get direct access to me, not a call centre.  5. "Does brand new equipment need testing?" The Standard Answer: Technically no, but it needs a tag.  New equipment is considered safe by the manufacturer, but WHS regulations require it to be 'New to Service' tagged so you know when its first real test is due. I can take care of this as part of your initial site audit.

Remove the electrical gear that wont be used, so we do not test things effectively not in service. Put the phone down when considering going with someone cheaper than me because with cheap you'll pay twice, thirdly, understand the financial penalties for non-compliance with NSW WHS legislation - we'll be a lot cheaper!
