I have worked in many types of industries and always looking for a challenge, therefore working in the printing and branding industry is always fun and there are different things coming in all the time which makes the job interesting.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

There is always great story with most events that we manage - our installer Matt was applying vinyl to the external windows of a hotel for the Gold Coast Marathon Event in 2024, the day of install it was blowing absolute gale force winds and the vinyl was wet apply, so as soon as the wind got hold of it - it just ripped it off and away. After reprinting that section, we needed a few extra pairs of hands to help out. So we sent some of the crew from the factory down to site to give Matt a helping hand and the job ended up perfect. Troubleshooting on the spot and getting a fix for the problem is one of our specialties. There is always a work around, thinking outside the box.  Printing the people standees is always fun - We have printed a few famous people like Jonathan Thurston NRL Footballer was one we did for a person's birthday and Sally Pearson for Chempro.

Most Common Questions are around What Options are available for a 'certain application' and the cost.   Some clients know exactly what they are after, but most don't. So that's where our expertise comes into play to offer the right solution for the right application. For Example, if a sign is required for an event, is the item going to be re-used or thrown away after the event we would use different finishing options to allow the item to be flat packed and reused or minimal finishing to throw away after use (or recyclable options if available), if the purpose is for inside/outside for short/long term ) we will advise on what is the best material for that purpose.

We deal with many event companies and businesses who need items by strict deadlines - this is our specialty in making sure we don't disappoint for the big day. We will keep in constant contact with our clients to make sure all delivery expectations have been met. Communication is key here - if something is requested and is impossible to produce in that timeframe we will always offer solutions. If it is possible, you can be assured that we will "Move Mountains" to make sure the items arrive.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Quantity, artwork, size, material/substrate to print on (if you know, otherwise we will recommend), do you require laminating (this protects the ink), if the print is required for indoor or outdoor usage, and long or short term. If you give us an overview of what you are wanting printed then we can sometimes recommend products.   For Example: if you are a school and require some posters there are many options available, (polyprop poster paper, standard paper, corflute, vinyl, removable vinyl and many many more...) we have a removable vinyl which is great for posters for schools where you can install yourself and remove the vinyl and reapply to a different wall. Ideal for Classrooms

Large format printing, we can print on many types of substrates from wood, screenboard, vinyl, poster paper, corflute to acrylic and many many more options.  Our machinery is onsite and we print all our own products.  Come and visit our factory any time.
