Nicholas Kaiko After years of working with two well-known Australian interior designers on local and international luxury hotels and high-end residential, Nic started Kaiko Design Interiors focusing on bespoke residential design, affording his clients the style and detailing of the luxurious homes and hotels of his earlier career. The studio primarily focuses on residential but has completed some large-scale hospitality design as well as smaller retail design, locally here in Sydney. “I love the pace of retail and hospitality design, I love that clients are open to bolder ideas and to get out of their comfort zone” Nic is an interior designer that believes in experiential design, placing importance on how someone will feel in the spaces he creates, and how he may be able to enhance their experience and ultimately their lives. “I am passionate about design, I live it, breathe it, blog it and document it. Design, in all its iterations, impacts our lives in ways that we can not only see and touch but also the way we feel. I truly believe that good design can change lives”.
