• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  My dad was also an accountant and was pivotal in my decision to take accounting and finance at the University of Western Australia. He was however an accountant working at Shell Singapore.

• What do you like most about your job?

  I enjoy the diversity of work roles. Technically as an auditor, I ensure that organisations I audit comply with the accounting/auditing rules so that the public interest is met. As a tax agent, I help my clients by giving them advise to minimise tax within the legislation and also complete their tax returns. In business advisory, I get involved with establishing business structures, business planning and due diligence. Finally as the managing director of my firm of two directors, I need to take a bird's eye few of the entire operation.
