Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes we are fully insured with workers comp and public liability insurance.  We offer a 2 year installation warranty. Product warranties vary 10- 25 years. full disclosure will be discussed of the chosen product.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I completed my Carpentry Trade Certificate after high school and moved into Floor laying, where I trained and gained employment.  I witnessed frequent unfair customer issues and it was my vision to be better. I have since become a self employed business man with my own Flooring and Carpet store and Staff,  replacing what others lack.

A family who had damage to their floors in their home and home salon after the recent February Floods.  To see them ecstatic with the whole house completion and getting them back to business as usual, was great.

I Love to see the customers reaction of a completed job. Transforming their home exactly how it was envisaged to them and more.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Accepted Answer

The customer should ask about product and installation warranties.  The customer should have knowledge of any necessary floor preparation costs involved.  These costs are often left out from sales teams/ stores, leaving it up to the installers to inform the customer on the day of installation. These costs can be an expensive addition to the budget, at short notice.  Our team are qualified installers- flooring options/warranties are all discussed in great detail,no extra costs will be charged from quoted prices.

Iam regularly asked about product and installation warranties.  I have extensive knowledge both, the products that I have personally picked to be showcased in my store and knowledge of installation as Iam an installer. All matters are discussed thoroughly.

I have been in this industry for over 15yrs and treat every job we do as if I was doing it to my own home.

We offer a professional and cost effective service with a 2 year installation warranty , fully insured and can work in with timelines and in and around other trades to help take some of the stress of you.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

An estimate of size of the job, idea of product you wish to have. To give an accurate quote I would need to visit site to check measure and check sub floors.  For supply only jobs- iam happy to still measure up and assist if needed.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1 . Take up and dispose existing floor coverings. 2 . Move all furniture out of the way to give installers a clear run. 3 . Remove skirting boards prior to installers arriving having them de nailed and cleaned ready for installers to attach. We are happy to do all of these , but we do charge.

We don’t inflate our profits on our rates , like most companies do. We work in with our customers budget as best as we can and we also will beat any written quote.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

All rates are normally charged at a square meter rate. Some hourly rate work is used on repairs and maintenance work.

We specialize in floating floor installations , carpet and carpet tiles , vinyl plank and sheet vinyl installations , sub flooring repairs to carry floor coverings and just general repairs and maintenance to existing flooring.

Trade qualified carpenters and flooring installers , have worked on big scale projects have also worked on selling houses Australia completing flooring installations.
