Yes and YES!!!  Green Sky Photography is a fully insured drone operator with QBE Insurance. Our policy provides cover per claimable event to an amount of $10 million.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

In a previous line of work, one of my consultants knew that I flew drones for a hobby. They asked if I could help them and conduct a roof inspection with them. At the end of the inspection seeing the photos provided, they said this would be a great business idea. That night I registered my ABN.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Yes. One of our Government clients engaged us to 3D map 50 hectres of land to assist and highlight areas where the lease holder was illegally dumping asbestos. We mapped it successfully and provided proof of 8 piles ranging in numerous sizes. This was used to prosecute the lease holder.

We get to fly drones. How could you not love this job. Everyday we get to see different parts of Australia from angles not many have experienced.

Green Sky Photography will need to know the location works are required. When flying drones, there are many specific airspace regulations that need to be considered. We would also need to know what you are looking to do, video? photos? both? No stress, we can talk you through all the options.

Tip 1- Provide examples videos or photos from Youtube or google that will assist in us understanding what you are after Tip 2- Try to be with us on the day. If we are flying our drones, you can co-pilot and ensure you are getting the content you need Tip 3- Brainstorm your expectations. Be clear.

Green Sky Photography's pricing for small one off jobs is the same as the rates we charge for our large, ongoing and regular clients. We have tested the market and understand what our competitors charge. We know how long things take and quote accordingly. No hidden costs!!!

Green Sky Photography pride ourselves with our transparency. We charge a standard service fee depending on your job type and then a competitive hourly rate. Our rate for the big clients is the same for the small ones.
