  Kevin, Shane and Jimmy from GoBrush Painting Services did a fantastic job painting the interior of our home in Forest Hill. From start to finish they were professional, punctual and respectful of the house. The preparation and attention to detail really showed in the final result. The place looks fresh, clean and beautifully finished. A great team to deal with and I’d happily recommend Kevin and his team to anyone looking for quality painters.

  I debated for a long while if I should bother writing this review, but now that I'm emotionally out of the thick of it, I will. Kevin was an incredible disappointment. He might be good at the actual work, but I have no idea because we never got that far. Some of the red flags BEFORE he cancelled on me the weekend before starting on the Monday: - He said because I was doing "dark colours" it was a "bigger cost" - He said because I was doing "dark colours" it won't "look great" - He had planned to do the job without priming. Without priming on WHITE walls, with a dark colours. You actually have to prime with either the primer tinted to the same colour or with a grey. He didn't like that I told him that. - He later threw in my face that I was being difficult considering that he "didn't take a deposit" even though I never asked him not to, he just chose not to. - The gas lighting was unreal. To a point where my husband was like "I'm confused, those were his exact words" when he changed the start date. The biggest and most offensive problem was the weekend before starting on the Monday he told me he couldn't do it because there were too many "gotch ya" moments. In other words, I was a woman telling him what to do and he didn't like that. My other guess was he felt he under quoted. The shocker was when he said "this is hard for me too." To cancel. Yeah Kevin, I'm sure it was very difficult on you to cancel the Friday before starting for you.. He left me high and dry without a single piece of advice on where else to go. I ended up going with Sam at WESTERN SHADES PAINTING PTY LTD. He did an AMAZING job, even with my dark colours. Never pushed back on anything. Treated me respectfully. Never gaslight me and actually did it for LESS than your quote. I'm giving 2 stars because I don't know what your work is like, but doing what you did wasn't acceptable.

  These five star reviews are true! Here's another one.... Kevin did an awesome job painting the full exterior of our extension. From the start, his integrity really stood out — fair, transparent, and no surprises. His communication was superb throughout the whole process, always clear and responsive, which made everything stress-free. He was reliable, showed up when he said he would, worked fast, and left everything tidy. He’s also refreshingly honest, which is something you don’t always get. It was just a great experience all round and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a quality painter.

  I cannot give Kevin, Shane, Nick & Jimmy enough praise. They transformed our classic heritage coloured weatherboard house into a Masterpiece! They took time and precision in every brush stroke! Offering experienced advice when we were unsure. Always turned up on time and finished the job when they said it would be completed. Thank you, Thank you, GoBrush.
