How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Real estate has always been in my blood so it was only natural that I too would end up in the real estate industry, I got a taste for property management and here I am, still enjoying it today!

I have many but a most recent (Nov 17) one would be a client who was having endless issues with their previous agent, we took over management and managed to obtain the owner $1200 in insurance for unpaid rent which occurred back in August 2017, the previous agent had done nothing with it!

I love that every day is different, it never feels repetitive, and you always meet new people and different personalities, helping people is very rewarding and when you can help them with something that perhaps their previous agent wouldn't do and they are so thankful, it sure gives you a smile!

Employees - How long have your staff been with you, do you have a high retention rate for your employees? If the employees are coming and going there is clearly not a happy work environment, I would be wondering why this is and how will it affect me as a client.

Having worked in a few different agencies I have seen first hand where they have gone wrong, and what their clients were not happy with, the big issue being lack of communication, which is why we are so dedicated to providing fantastic customer service and peace of mind to our clients.

We need to know the property address and if the person we are speaking to is on the title or has legal authority to be discussing the property on the owners behalf.

Ensuring the property is compliant with security regulations (dead locks on doors, patio bolts where required, window locks, front security light etc), ensuring the property is in good maintenance order and is clean and ready to move into, and making sure the smoke alarms & RCDs are in working order

Research has shown us that in the current market local agents are charging premium fees and delivering poor service, we have based our fees on the fact that owners are now receiving less rent, therefore should have more of their money in their pockets each month, whilst also receiving top service.

Our fees are very reasonable and no compromise has been made on our level of service to reflect our lower fees either, the fees are taken out of the rental income at the end of each month.

Tara has many years experience in the real estate industry, having started her career within the family company as a receptionist and then progressing now to senior property manager, which is a role she has done for the last 4 years and very much enjoys.
