Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes we are fully insured with public liability and workers compensation policies. We also provide a lifetime warranty on workmanship and 1 year on materials supplied by us.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I was at university  doing an engineering course. I did work in the holidays with an electrician and loved it. I left the course after being offered a job, much to every bodies dismay. I did my apprenticeship with this small company (who I worked with 10 years). I now have my own successful  business with 5-6 employees and love what I do. Sometimes you just know what right.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

My first job for a client in dural. I quoted him for the job. I did the job quicker than what I expected so I reduced the price for him. He was so happy that he gave me all his work which at the time I didn't realise he owned a large pet food business. I Still do his work to this day and he never needs another quote. It made me feel really proud that my business would be different to others and really look at things from the customers point of view.

What do you like most about your job?

I like knowing we have built a business that not only provides a great service to clients but is also an enjoyable work environment for our staff. I also like spending time with the apprentices on site it keeps me young.

We have over 20 years experience in the industry .We are preferred electricians for Beacon Lighting parramatta , castle hill and rouse hill stores. Customers receive extended warranties on some of their products if we install them. We have worked for the local real estate for 10 years. We build relationships with clients, we are not interested in short term success. Our aim is to have our old clients being the base of our business. So you know we are not going to tarnish our reputation.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We need to know what their problem is. The type of building the work will be done  in. ie: house orunit, brick or fibro, 2 storey home?) Also the location of the work. Work on the round floor with a level above is more time consuming than work in a single level home with roof access. It is handy to now if they have a man hole into roof space or under the floor.

We charge $99 per hour for a tradesman . We will find faults faster and provide better solutions than any of our competitors.  We get more achieved in an hour therefore you receive better value for money. The question you need to ask is . Do I really want the cheapest electrician wiring my house?

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We are able to provide quotes with fixed price or by the hour with estimated time frame. Which  if it is going to be exceeded we inform the client before it happens so there are no surprises.
