YES!! Fully insured, and we say to all our customers if we missed something or broke something please let us know so we can attend and correct the problem, As you the customer are our biggest marketing tool. We want you happy so we can return.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

After stressful life as a paramedic and firefighter for many years decided to go back to what my father did when he gave up his professional career, Its something that takes a bit of love, patience and care, and a lot less stressful as can select how many customers we have.

We Actually had a lawn we were looking after for about 4 months, and it was great, the best in the street, so good someone actually vandalized the irrigation system and almost killed it. Which was great as allowed use to do some better soil treatments and now its the best in the local area.

Meeting new people and see and great well looked after a lawn that our customers love. and use all the time. Even better when their friends ask and we start looking after their lawn.

Are they trained? Are they Licensed, and Are they insured, because we speak with a lot of others and whilst most are great at cutting lawns about 40% are backyard boys with no training no insurance and a lot of them spray without a license which means their insurance does not cover them.

How much? and that is the big question? unfortunately, size and time are the factors. With Weed control ask if it is safe for pets, And that depends on the chemicals(weeds) we need to use(Treat). We follow manufacturers guidelines and are careful about what we use.

We Have Spent $000's on our own custom software and scheduling system to get it right and are constantly improving it. With 100's of customers, we send an SMS the day before to advise we are coming and can send it to multiple people.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Accepted Answer

If we Spray your Lawn for Weed we are covered if you or your loved one's or neighbors get sick, or we kill the neighbors prized lawn, this is because we are licensed, if the provider you use is not licensed for (Herbicides Spraying) they the cost to repair can fall back to you.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We need to look at the area and job requirements, as a photo is no good. Although we work on m2, if we have 50 garden beds or sprinklers to go around that takes more time and therefore might increase costs. For weeds control, we need to know what weeds we are dealing with( we can identify them).

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

It's hard, having a nicely maintained lawn comes with regular service, But the thing to make it more please is the removal of land mines from Pet's, If the lawn is overgrown Walkthrough make sure nothing is in the lawn Eg toys, Brick, etc. As they damage equipment and increase costs.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We follow recommendations from our governing bodies and market prices. Eg LMCA works on an hourly rate and we are matched to that. Materials are as per RRP from supplies and will try and match others providing we are not losing out. As we still need to make a living.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We base our pricing mostly on m2, however, have a base charge to cover our time travel to and from sites. Larger jobs we work on an hourly rate( as in Slashing of Lawns). We always offer a complete quote before we start, Sometimes with a thing like irrigation varies job to job.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We Love the Challenge or Lawn Restoration and Recovery. Bringing fresh life to neglected and damaged lawns is what we love. However Paul loves the challenge of Irrigation side and Adian is the Weed and Pest control Side. Both also know how to look after lawn both mowing and chemically.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

We both have years of experience in Lawn mowing, Paul has his Cert III in residential turf management, Adian is finishing his Cert III in horticulture, Both Are Licensed Pest Control Applicators (Herbicide), Paul is also a Water Corporation Waterwise Garden Irrigator program member.
