Lift and remove old pavers.  Dig out area to correct height or close to.  Move new pavers close to the area that needs to be paved.

I always try to do the best and lowest possible price. I'm constantly looking around at other prices to make sure I'm competitive

It all depends on the job. There's a few factors involved like whether the area needs to be dug out plus the size and types of pavers.
