We have public liability insurance, and ensure that our team are trained on the best techniques to ensure that no accidental damages are incurred during your move. As we are a small business, we rely on repeat work for many of our bookings.

Accepted Answer

We offer a competitive price in line with other local providers. Our team will do their best to ensure your move is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. We take extra care with your valuable property, treating it with due diligence as we would if we had paid for the items with our own money. Our team are polite, respectful and will always work joyfully.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

Ensure your belongings are professionally packed in quality moving boxes ready for our team on arrival (we can also provide a packing service if you need help to pack items correctly to avoid accidental damages). Dismantling larger furniture will save time when the team are onsite, however we are happy to provide this service for you.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We complete jobs quickly and with care. Many removals companies (including DC Removals) calculate your total bill based on the number of hours required to complete the move from start to finish. We pride ourselves on being fast and efficient to ensure that we are first on the list for your next move! If you have a larger scale move and wish to have a fixed price instead of an hourly rate so that you can avoid any nasty surprises on the day, we are happy to come to you to provide a fixed price quote.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We would prefer a bank transfer to be done on completion of the job then we will email through an invoice for the work done. We do require immediate payment upon completion of the job.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

High rise apartments are a challenge, we enjoy a challenge!  Heavy items such as pool tables, spas, and pianos are on the challenge list and we love to move these heavy items!  We are also very experienced at navigating stairwells and lifts.  All of our workers are physically strong and fit to carry out the work.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I personally have plenty of my own unique methods to move things that are effective and safe. I train my workers to carry out the work the same way.
