Critical Care is a fully insured business.  We offer guarantees on our work depending on the level of service, recommendations and the type of pest being treated.

What do you like most about your job?

Solving a client's pest issue. When we arrive at the property and the customer has only seen a few pests, say cockroaches and at the end of the treatment we can show the dying cockroaches, there is great satisfaction to us and the customer.

I own Critical Care Pest Management and my name is on every job. I want to be able to sleep well at night and the best way for that to happen is for me to be the most reliable  and trustworthy person for the job.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Some pest control providers give a service period or warranty but will then not honour them, or will insist that the area in question is not part of the warranty. At Critical Care Pest Management we give realistic warranties and honour them. If the pests come back so do we. The difference is we care.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

When a customer requests a quote we like for them to provide the size of the place to be treated as in the number of levels, the number of bedrooms and other bedrooms as this gives us an idea of the time required to do the work. We also like a description of the property has this helps in describing a possible treatment solution. We also like to ask what pests the customer has seen.

For the Month of May have your home inspected for termites and treated for cockroaches, silverfish, ants and spiders for $200.00, normally $255.00. Conditions apply - lowest 3-4 bedroom, service periods subject to inspection.

Our pricing is competitive because we constantly research the market to ensure that we are providing the best possible service for the cost. Our other competitive advantage is that the technician behind the job is the person behind the business. Our name is directly on the work we do.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

How we charge depends on the type of service we would perform on you property. For what we normal consider household pests such as cockroaches, silverfish ants and spiders we generally start from $180.00 inc GST depending on the size of the property and an onsite inspection. Generally what we quote we standby, unless what is described to us is vastly different from what we actually see. Quoting for termites is subject to an onsite inspection so that we can provide you with the best possible solution.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I am a specialist pest control technician, which means that I cover all pests that you may encounter. The advantage to you is that one call does it all. Some companies specialise in termites only, but it is not unusual to have other pest problems which they do not have the skill to deal with. The difference is we care - about you and your property.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have over 23 years , from Sydney to Port Douglas, having also trained a number of still active pest control operators. I am licensed in all facets of pest control including termites (white ants).
