Enjoy the freedom and dealing with people generally. Along with moving around and having a variety of different types of work. I did work part time in this field when I was studying as well.

Phone order came in for 6 Donuts in 5 minutes delivery to a boat coming into the jetty half way out. No problems. Took them out was paid and threw them down at the clients request to which he caught and dropped 2 which I might add were still ok, only for him to spend the next 20 minutes getting his boat off the sand bar. Very different!

What do you like most about your job?

Being my own boss. In control of my own destiny. Moving around being mobile and meeting people. I believe I'm a people person.   Having the pleasure of someone coming back and saying how nice that was. I suppose a sense of achievement.

Check the standard that the mobile food van looks like ie. First Impressions are so important. You can generally tell by the care taken on the outfit as to the care taken on the food.

We use a vegetable oil for cooking our donuts and chips in, and they are cooked in separate fryers. Our hot dogs are skinless and our dim sims are made from pork and beef. Our sausages for our sizzle are Gluten Free.

You can trust me with over 20 years experience. The question is from my eyes can I trust you the client after providing the service. This business is a cash business. Cash first product and service 2nd ie food.

Our food is fresh and always cooked on demand. Each customer is given individual attention. We have an outstanding little food van that is neat and tidy and is professionally run. And quite frankly without sounding too cocky we pride ourselves on giving the best quality and service. Yes we are the one for you!

How many people will be attending the function? Is there any other Food that is going to be there? What type of access is provided to the site? What type of power is on site for me to run my Food Van?

If we go in at no cost to ourselves and do well out of it, then a donation can be arranged for the organisers of that event, so hopefully all going well and everyone is happy we can lock ourselves in for the next event.

A small Australian family owned business generally priced slightly under other retail outlets of same nature. Have been told for what we give that we are very cheap.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Depends on function. For a Birthday, 21st, or similar minimum 100 people @ $10 per head with a restrictive menu or an agreed rent whether set fee or a percentage of the profits made. Remembering "Quality & Service Remains Long After Price is Forgotten". We do tend to run a professional outfit.ie Pay for what you get!

I have now been in business for over 20 years now and know what is required having done just about all the events you could think of.  I have a Food Certificate with my local Council a Food Health Supervisors Certificate. Public & Products Liability and of course registered as a business. all bases covered. You are dealing with honest reliable reputable people.
