Location: Alberton, QLD
Although I was generally happy with the service. With the price I felt the carpets could have been cleaned a bit better as there were a few stains left.Peter S

The technician has done a fantastic job overall. Joshua from James carpet cleaning responded fast and was the only one who contacted me and my wife, We explained the details and immediately he provided advice on stain treatment and book us in a 2 hour response. Although our home was a little larger than normal and out of his service area, was willing to come out, Joshua provided a fixed quote and never changed his price. He also provided us with a sample product of stain and protection treatment with our carpets for future use. We certainly will be referring them to friends.Benita

As a result of james carpet and upholstery we did not recieve our bond back. He is entirely unprofessional and arrived hours after the agreed upon time. He then left my carpets with brown patches and debris all over the floor. When I tried to get my money back , he tried to claim the damage was my fault because he claims I did not vacuum the carpet first. Do yourself a favour and hire someone else. He is cheap though, I guessyou get what you pay for! repliedGC brizzy end of lease, Carpet Cleaning & Pest Control18 Apr 2014
Thank you for your feedback and I appreciate you need this resolved however this is in the hands of your property manager lawyers and yourself regarding a seperate issue. We work with.many real estates, most of whom have been cleaners, you simply want a refund after we've done the work. I have offered you my guarantee which means I would return to do it again IF required although we do not need to after speaking to your agent first national nerang about your property and the state it was left in. Please keep in mind we have relationships with property and sales managers in the real estate industry most of our work is referrals. It is my responsability to make sure I do the right things by both tenants who I get paid by but also managers who rely on information. After contacting your agent, I've explained I done the job but maybe the cleaner has not vaccunmed or cleaned the property at all and the premises looks abandoned. There was rubbish, crayons and bits of dust everywhere. Your agent and I, both agree, your cleaner has not cleaned at all and this cannot be my fault, but offered you my assistance in having your cleaner return. Obviously I didn't know if that cleaner was a professional you hired or if it was you that cleaned so I don't want to insult you but agreed with your agent t, it looked pretty bad for a bond clean. For the reason you will not get your bond is the house was far from finished with the bond cleaning, the carpets have resettled dust and dirt that was a result but also other things I'm not willing to share to protect your privacy. In simple terms The carpet has not been vaccunmed or professionals have not prepared my clean and left crayons all over the floor, rubbish and dust everywhere. After I finished, I've made sure to document this and show you about 25L of the dirt lifted which I picked up a total of 40-50L incase you were to not pay for the work, I also know the property managers before attending most jobs. After leaving a voicemail to first national, the following day I've explained I've done the best job possible but the cleaner has not vaccunmed or cleaned the property or its been abandoned, and not ready for sale you can call me back on my mobile to discuss this property. "My message' The real estate description was ' looked like customers packed and left. I've agreed. And explaing When cleaning carpets all attempts are made to do a decent job and remove as many stains dust and dirt off of a carpet, but if its not vaccunmed or cleaned, its only going to resettle causing those stains or marks to reappear but also make the job worthless Counterclaim Unfortunately the customer in this case ignored the reccomend guide and proceeded. For a refund from me and then placed this feedback on the site. she's learnt she needs to re bond clean entire house and may lose her bond after house has been sold and settlement fell through because the house in general was not properly done. Job is $85 which I've discount $20 for my on time guarantee 15 minutes late because we spend time getting jobs done properly and holiday high demand. If you would like to still proceed in having this resolved, I urge to to contact a professional cleaner or your realtor will then contact me once that's been done. If I'm needing to return to the job outside my offer, I need to charge for my time again. If the place has been cleaned and it was a poor job, I return and do the job at no charge.
