  Avoid, avoid, avoid. Didn't do the work I wanted, then threatened to barge into my house (which as a single female is concerning), and remove the cheap tapware he had put in, if I didn't pay the bill. He was supposed to install ceramic quarter turn taps in my shower (ceramic inserts are supposed to stop the need for having to replace washers). He had the same problems installing them as I did and when I asked if he had checked the pipes at the back - he ignored my question and simply said "these taps are $#!t. I'd never use those. He continued this phrase many times. When I asked him to come back and do the work again (which I have never had to do), he made threats to myself and my cousin (who I had join me on the call, because I was scared to speak to him on my own) and he made threats to her also. Showed no regard for the small business where I had bought the taps from (who support and recommend him as a small business) and no regard for the taps that I can now no longer use (because not returnable after an install has been attempted - $150). He offered me one price on site, and has now increased the price. All I wanted was to come to a reasonable outcome with him - perhaps one discounted price for the visit, where he didn't do what I asked (giving him the benefit of the doubt in not understanding what I wanted) and then I would pay him for a second visit. He wanted $150 for both visits. Strange behaviour in such a small town. I think I was easy money at the end of the day - wasn't interested in seeing if I needed additional work to make these taps - which is why I asked him over - just wanted easy way out.

  Brett did a great job fixing up some plumbing in my laundry & bathroom. He's got a good attitude and a well-behaved dog who sat patiently outside the whole time! I found Brett's services to be reasonably priced and I would hire him again
