Excellent and professional service, very impressed. Brandon from BK Electrical Group was very friendly and punctual. He thoroughly explained the work that was involved so I had a good understanding of what needed to be done, and kept me updated as he was completing the jobs. He fixed a tripping circuit and upgraded my whole switchboard so my power and appliances are now safe and protected. I also had 3 new light fittings and a new powerpoint installed. Brandon did an impressive job, very efficient. Left my place clean and ensured everything was working before he left. Very happy client with BK Electrical Group. I would gladly have them back for future work. Highly recommended for all your electrical needs.Mrs L

When I finished the job I asked you if you were happy with the works completed and you said you were happy. By far the worst experience we have ever had with a tradesman. The work was perfectly fine, but we were coerced into paying over double ($950) what was quoted for the original job ($450). After starting what we were told was a simple ceiling fan installation, it was claimed it could not be completed because the circuit board was not up to 'code', something that should have been checked and quoted before undertaking the first job. We were left in a position where we had no choice but pay for more work to be done so the fan installation could go ahead. We explicitly mentioned we wanted the minimum work done on the circuit, which was only meant to be the surge device install, we were very clear we didn't have the money to pay for all the new work he was listing. We requested the new total quote for entire work ($500), however, once both these jobs were done, we were charged $950. A price total that was never quoted to us or agreed. After explaining this was not the agreed price and were being charged for work we did not want, it was stated he was actually quoting the total of two separate jobs, and the two quotes were independent. This was completely unclear and never mentioned, we very clearly asked for the revised total before agreeing to more work. We shared that the quote was not properly communicated and that we did not want to pay for changes we did not want. He proceeded to ask us if we own the apartment, stating we obviously have the money and should just pay him, among other things. Eventually, we came to an agreed amount but the whole experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating, personally recommend staying well clear. I don't believe anyone should put in a position where they end up paying over double the initial quote and have someone refusing to leave their property demanding a fee that was never agreed. repliedBk Electrical Group25 Mar 2022
Hi Gaby, Thank you for the great review. I hope you’re well. Just know I am a young electrician who gets the job done to compliance. If you were not happy with the quote before hand you should have cancelled the job. I always give my client the benefit of the doubt to go ahead I never force even though I’m doing the right thing by law of my trade. Considering it is electricity which need to be taken seriously.
