  My experience with Best Local Cleaners was really great. New wooden floors had been laid in our apartment and dust covered absolutely everything. The team from Best Local Cleaners left it spotless. They communicated well, turned up on time and were very easy to do business with. Highly recommend them.

  I would not recommend this company at all! Beware! They quoted me $500 to clean a 2 bedroom apartment and then arrived and said it would take additional time. The 'fixed' quote was not fixed. It was based on 6hrs of cleaning in total for 2 cleaners. I was then charged a 'discounted' fee for additional hours of cleaning at $264. That's $764. Apparently, I'm paying almost $100 per hour per cleaner! This was not communicated upfront upon booking. I have never been so dissatisfied with a cleaning service in my life and feel totally ripped off. Unacceptable.

  Hi Melinda, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. Our quotes are transparent and clearly outline the hours and costs. Fact Check: 1) We never offer fixed price unlimited cleaning quotes. The original quote was for 6 hours, plus 1-2 hours buffer for EOL warranty. Upon arrival, our cleaners assessed the job required 14 hours due to the below-average condition of the property, as shown in the pictures we provided. We communicated this before proceeding. 2) You were charged for only 4 additional hours at a discounted rate, totaling $764 incl GST for 14 hours, which averages to approximately $54.57 (Inc GST) per hour per cleaner, not $100 per hour as stated. This is below the industry average. Please find the attached invoice for reference. Despite leaving us this negative report, you requested additional help which our office promptly attempted to fulfill by regularly contacting you. At Best Local Cleaners, we strive to provide exceptional service and clear communication with all our clients. We regret that this experience did not meet our high standards. We have passed on the feedback to the cleaner and we always aim to be transparent with our pricing and ensure our clients are fully informed before proceeding with any additional work.
