Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes we have comprehensive insurance and give 5 years warranty on all installations and 12 months warranty on the part we have replaced/fixed on service/repair work.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Whilst in high school I did work experience and tried plumbing,  electrical and refrigeration & air conditioning. It was this trade that i found to be the most challenging and rewarding.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I was installing a ducted split air conditioning unit and came cross $500 that had fallen out of the customers pocket in their backyard that they had been looking for it. I stopped my work found the customer and returned the money telling them where it was found.  They were over the moon at my honesty as it was quite a sum of money that needed. This I believes shows that I'm honest and very professional, not many would have handed that back.

What do you like most about your job?

My job is challenging and different everyday as refrigeration and air conditioning has many areas and you never know what you could be faced with. I also enjoy the people I meet on a daily basis.

Do you hold the appropriate licences and are they current? Do you guarantee your workmanship? What time frame am I looking at? Do you provide free quotes on new installations and what is your call out fee?

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

The air con is no longer cooling or heating due to a gas leak. The customer always asked can't you just re gas the air conditioning unit... unfortunately no there would be no point and far more costly to the customer, the leak needs to be found and repaired before it can be re gassed to stop the new gas leaking as well.

I treat every job as my own and take pride in my own workmanship, which I believe is highly lacking in today's trades. I am honest with what needs to be done and will not take the easy way. I am very professional, knowledgeable and offer fantastic prices.

I am the sole owner of my company and therefore understand that customers what to be provided with a professional and quality service. Larger companies often have no control over workmanship but mine is guaranteed.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

With new installations we need a house plan for any ducted systems including reverse cycle or evaporated air conditioning. Wall mounted split systems we need to know the size and location of outdoor unit from the indoor unit and whether you want the outdoor unit on the roof, wall or floor with a approximate meter distance to switch board. It is also helpful to have a general idea of their budget.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Check the remote control settings plenty of call outs on air conditioning units is because the setting is on cooling and they want it to heat or vice versa. Check filters to make sure they are clean and dust free these can be taken out and rinsed, and make sure main power hasn't tripped or power services  aren't been carried out in your area.

As I am the sole service provider for my company, the overheads are lower than that of larger company. This allows me to pass on these savings to customers whilst still providing them with a five star service.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I provide free quotes for installation works and for service/maintenance. I charge a call out fee which includes the first 1/2hr labour and then an hourly rate. After the inspection I will provide you a report and tell you the issue along with a quotation of my recommendations.

I specialize in all refrigeration & air conditioning work as I enjoy the mixture of work. I have all so gone back to school and have started a security business called Crime Time Security specializing in alarms, cctv, intercoms and bollards.

I have been doing refrigeration and air conditioning for 10 years and have a wide range of experience all over Western Australia in all different fields in refrigeration & air conditioning. I have all the training, certificates and registrations required for my profession.
