Andrew Scrivens Guitar

Andrew Scrivens is a guitar coach based in Brisbane. After many years of focusing on studio recording and live performance, Andrew found that he had a real knack for teaching the skills of guitar-playing to others and began taking on private students. His enthusiasm and passion for playing, teaching and finding better ways to understand and assist the learning process led to him become a popular guitar teacher among students. He currently runs a private guitar coaching business specializing in beginners through to advanced players in the genres of blues, rock and pop on both the elctric and acoustic guitar. Lessons include the usual private one-on-one format as well as group formats which emphasise the social aspects of learning guitar. Workshops are held intermittently to cover specific topics in greater depth and all students have the option to participate in live performance at open-mic nights around brisbane if they are interested.
