Recently my friends and l were discussing weddings we had attended.  Sadly, we had all been to too many weddings which we remembered because of how bad the celebrant was.  There were a variety of reasons they were bad. One mumbled, one yelled, one stood with his back to the crowd, one was dressed inappropriately and the list went on.  How heartbreaking that these special occasions could only be recalled for the negatives.  As your Marriage Celebrant l will add to the success of your day, not subtract from it.  My outgoing personality, speaking skills and ability to relate will ensure the day is remembered for the positives.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

After five years even l am surprised at how different every single ceremony is. I am not an ‘insert name here’ sort of Celebrant. I enjoy sitting down with my couples and families to hear their story and ensure the ceremony matches their personality and reflects them. After all, it’s their day. For many people it is the only time in their life that they stand in front of a crowd and declare their love. It needs to be their words, their feelings and their way. If that means seriousness, romance, humour or all three then so be it.

What do you like most about your job?

I hold the vow of marriage in very high regard. Not only is it the path l have chosen for my life, but l have encouraged various people l care about to take this important step of public declaration.  I believe attending a marriage ceremony is an extreme honour and an obligation in itself to support and nurture the couple in their future.  I love working with people to create a ceremony that reflects their tastes and delivers exactly what they want. It's your ceremony - you tell me how you want it to be.  My aim is to exceed, not only your expectations but those of your guests!

Many people what to know how long a 'normal' ceremony goes for and what needs to be included. There are only a few legal requirements that must be spoken, other than that your ceremony can be as long (or as short) as you like depending on what you choose to include.

I take pride in providing a unique ceremony for every couple and focus on making it their day.The couple can relax knowing l will make sure all the legalities are met.

I don't charge extra for anything. Everything is included :)

How do you normally charge for your service?

Payment can be made by cash, bank deposit or paypal. To secure your ceremony date l would require a booking fee to be paid with the balance due in the week prior to the ceremony.

I specialise in Weddings, Naming Days, Commitment Ceremonies and Vow Renewals. I am available to travel to the location of your choice particular in country areas - why should city people have all the choice!

I have been qualified for over 5 years and have performed many ceremonies all over Melbourne, Victoria and Australia. I am approachable, honest and want to hear your ideas on how to make your special day yours.
