Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Our work is fully guaranteed. If, for some reason, the customer calls us back because of some issue, we will gladly revisit to rectify the problem. We are always covered by Public Liability insurance ..... just in case!!

Sick of sitting behind a desk for many years and getting old before my time. The job keeps me fresh and fit and allows me to fit in the many other tasks that I could never do in a full time job working for someone else.

We have many, many anecdotes that we could share about our customers over the years. We meet many wonderful and interesting people who have led interesting and sometimes amazing lives. One  elderly gentlemen we met was the first recipient of the Order of Australia after the award changed from the OBE. The gentleman was involved in the development of the over the horizon radar.

Meeting some very interesting people from all walks of life. Being invited into some beautiful and historic homes that the general public would never see. Being out and about on glorious days and soaking up the beauty of the Tasmanian countryside.

What sort of experience does the technicians have? Does the business have public liability insurance? Does the business guarantee the work? Can the business provide the service in a timely manner?

How long does the carpet take to dry? The answer depends on the temperature, air flow and the treatment that we have had to follow to correct the problem. We always attempt to dry the area as best we can to reduce drying time. Please note that winter is a great time to get carpets and upholstery cleaned as most homes are warmer than in summer.

The owner of the business is also the technician and therefore there is a strong incentive to accomplish the job to the satisfaction of the customer, the first time, to avoid a callback.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

As local professionals we have no affiliation with a franchise,  therefore we can guarantee that our prices are extremely competitive. There is no franchisor to be paid and so our overheads are lower which means we can pass the savings on to our customers. We follow the Australian Standard - AS/NZ 3733-1995 for carpet cleaning & upholstery cleaning. We DO NOT use chemicals containing optical brighteners, which are used to artificially brighten carpet to give the appearance of being clean and can damage wool & nylon carpets. We use the latest technology available in both machines & chemicals and our process is ASTHMA, PET & ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY. We want our customers to be happy. When you call, you will not be speaking to someone in another country, but with a local, either in Launceston or Hobart.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

The size of the area to be cleaned in square metres. An average adult stride is usually close to a metre. The nature of the accident which assists us in advising you of treatment before we arrive at the job.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

If there is an accident, it is always preferable not to use shop bought chemicals which can often add to the problem. We advise using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. If the stain is still moist, cover the area in plastic wrap and call us promptly.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

We guarantee to beat any nationally advertised carpet and upholstery specials by 10%. Our normal great rate will clean 3 rooms of 15 square metres for $100. We only charge for what we clean, so that means you could get much more than 3 actual rooms cleaned, if there is furniture in the rooms.

Customers can either pay in cash, cheque, credit card or by direct deposit. Payment on the day is required, except for businesses where we will provide a sales invoice.

Our technicians are trained in all aspects of carpet and upholstery cleaning. Training and experience provide knowledge to tackle most problems. The best chemicals and the right machine assist in providing an A1 service.
