Extremely Untrustworthy – Poor Business Practices I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about this company due to a pattern of dishonest and unprofessional behavior. I used them once for a small job. At the end, there were pricing discrepancies — they suddenly demanded more money before the job was finished. I paid the extra under pressure. Then, they immediately pushed hard for a 5-star Google review, which felt manipulative. Despite my concerns, I referred them to someone else. I personally walked them through the property, showed them everything to be moved, and clearly stated that a larger truck would be needed. A fixed quote was given — yet when moving day came, they hadn’t even looked into the destination property. Upon arrival, they refused to carry items upstairs and instead dumped everything in the garage and even outside. They promised to come back but never did. When I raised these issues with the owner, all I received was blame-shifting, denial, and excuses. They refused to take any responsibility, claimed they didn’t know the workers involved (a clear tactic to dodge accountability), and again demanded more money before completing the job. It’s a repeat pattern: underquote, demand more money mid-job, refuse to finish the work properly, and then pressure customers for a glowing review. I strongly advise others to stay away. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience has been disheartening and stressful and I felt I had to share it. At first, they seemed friendly and fast, but after we paid, they changed completely. They abandoned the job halfway, left items behind, and demanded extra money ($400 + $100 fuel) to bring things into the house—even though it was all included in the $1,600 cash quote confirmed via text. I told them upfront what was being moved, even sold the gym and a cabinet to make it easier. Still, they showed up with a tiny 3-ton truck, complained about “too many boxes” (in a house move?!), and made three rushed trips. They left our mattresses outside, dumped furniture carelessly, and never came back for the final load after promising they would. Worse, they refused to bring in boxes, saying they weren’t part of the deal—so my daughter, who recently had a back injury, had to carry everything herself. We even had to hire a trailer ourselves and return to the old house to finish what they left behind. They operate under different names (two “Sams”, one “Alex”) using the same number, and no one takes responsibility. It’s chaotic, evasive, and dishonest. I have all the messages, photos, and records—and I’m lodging a formal complaint with NSW Fair Trading. We hired this company for a full move of a 5-bedroom house, which was clearly agreed upon in advance for $1600. Despite this, they arrived with a small truck, which was completely inadequate for the job. This resulted in three trips, and they demanded an extra $100 for fuel and $400 more to move the rest of the furniture into the house after the agreed-upon price. While the movers worked quickly, the experience quickly deteriorated. Upon arriving at the new house, I was told that moving the boxes inside wasn’t part of the deal, despite it being a full-house move. I couldn’t reach my mum at the time, and ended up carrying over 30+ boxes myself with a recent back injury. I also had to assist to lift the fridge. They dumped furniture upside down or left it outside in the garage, and only brought a few items into the house (couch, ottoman, fridge, washing machine). They refused to bring the rest upstairs, and after their third trip, left the remaining furniture at the old house. We were told they’d return that night to finish the job, but no one came, we waited until 10pm, and they never communicated or followed up. Yes, my mum miscounted the number of stairs (47 instead of 7), but that does not excuse the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to complete the job. We now have to hire a trailer and finish the move ourselves at our own expense.Ed

Do not trust their 4.9-star reviews, they took my mum’s phone and left themselves a five-star review before even starting the job. Extremely disappointed with this company. They quoted us after we sent them a video of all our belongings, including a large gym. We ended up selling the gym before the move, so there should have been extra space, but on moving day, they still showed up with a small truck and couldn’t fit everything. They had to do three trips, wasting so much time, and even after that, they left a lot of our stuff back at the old house. They dumped everything messily in the garage and refused to carry boxes or furniture upstairs, telling my sister to do it instead. They tried to charge my mum an extra $400 just to take furniture upstairs, which is ridiculous for a removalist. Heavy furniture was left downstairs, upside down, and we can’t even move it ourselves. Worst of all, they left without telling us, never came back to finish the job, and left our mattresses half outside the garage so we couldn’t even close it properly overnight. Overall, unprofessional, incomplete service, and exploitative with extra charges.AJ H
