Job Description: There are many dead branches stuck in the tree; when there are strong winds, the branches fall onto the roof. This has caused the tiles on the roof to break, leading to water leakage in the bathroom below. We have had to place plastic covering on the roof to prevent leaking as shown in the photo. The dead branches frequently fall onto the pathway, which is close to our front door and garage. We are worried about the safety risk of the branches falling as we walk under the tree every day. The powerline is also next to the tree, where the falling branches could damage the powerline and is potentially hazardous. The roots of the tree have caused the concrete drive way to crack and has blocked the sewage pipes, which the plumber unblocks every year. The tree has caused many maintenance issues which we have to fix very frequently, costing us a lot of money as well as hindering our everyday life. However, since the tree is protected, we require an arborist to write a report so that we can apply for a permit to remove the tree.
